EN-Roads Climate Workshop

About Climate Interactive

Climate Interactive and partners have:

  • Briefed President Obamas Cabinet, dozens of US Senators, Representatives, from both sides of the aisle using the En-ROADS simulation.
  • Created shifts in spending and policy that improve both racial equity and climate resilience.
  • Been used the US State Department, the Chinese government, and the United Nations’ Secretary-General’s office.
  • Climate Interactive and partners have briefed dozens of US Senators, Representatives, from both sides of the aisle using the En-ROADS simulation.
  • Together with partners in Atlanta, Climate Interactive has created shifts in spending and policy that improve both racial equity and climate resilience.
  • Climate Interactive’s simulators have been used by the US State Department, the Chinese government, and the United Nations’ Secretary-General’s office.
  • The concept of Multisolving, coined at Climate Interactive, is being put into practice in local communities, cities, states, and nations around the world.
  • Partners have used their simulators in universities, communities, governments and businesses in 93 countries, engaging over 62,000 people.

About the Presenter- Wes Golomb

Wes Golomb is a climate Ambassador, trained to help you explore a climate simulator and visualize different climate scenarios. 

A lifelong teacher and long time energy and environmental activist. He taught environmental science for over 40 years, and started the first 2 year energy services degree program in the Northeast.  
 
His work brought Solar Up to his town which got reduced pricing for the installation of 63 solar systems.
 
Wes served for four years on the NH Energy Efficiency And Sustainable Energy Board, And the NH Sustainable Energy Association Board where he helped to guide it from  a small unknown organization to the State of New Hampshire’s premier energy organization. 
 
He is the author of an upcoming book on sustainable housing.
