ALERT: GOVERNOR’S BUDGET RAIDS RENEWABLE ENERGY FUND

Line 214 of HB2 (the budget bill) proposes a $2.5 million raid on the renewable energy fund. Please continue to reach out to your representative to let them know it’s not appropriate to raid dedicated funds and that this very limited funding for renewable energy in NH is very needed!

OTHER UPDATES

HB365, to raise the net metering project cap size from 1-5MW, passed the full House 254-98, over a 2/3 majority, sending a strong message to the Governor that NH supports this bill. Thanks to everyone who contacted their legislators and urged support; please thank them! Next, the bill heads to the Senate.

After significant change with an amendment, the Senate ENR committee decided unanimously to re-refer SB13, so it may be brought back next year.
